Laycock St Dance presents InTENtion

November 2013, leaving the warehouse they’d converted into a dance studio, in unit 3 of 16 Laycock Street North Gosford, two men conceived their brand new space of dance, drama and song.

Rich in the traditional Highland Dance form and accompanied by strong Tap beats and rhythms, a colourful Rainbow theme dedicated to technique, tradition and passion; this uniquely fused company became Laycock St Dance.

Fast forward ten years, a few thousand students, hundreds of choreographed items, a musical production, a film, competition and eisteddfod success locally and overseas, local performances, television appearances and their nine acclaimed annual shows… Laycock St Dance has established a strong, diverse, proudly individual cultural hub.

InTENtion is a reflection of those ten years, a celebration of now and a glimpse into our future. Featuring Highland Dance, Tap, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Hiphop, Drama, Irish Dance and Vocal, a colourful and entertaining spectrum of performing arts.
