Welcome to Laycock Street Community Theatre, we’re looking forward to you joining us soon.

Before your visit, we’d like to share some information with you to make your experience comfortable and COVID-safe.

COVID-safe cleaning practices

In accordance with the NSW Government requirements and Laycock Street Community Theatre's COVID Safety Plan, we have implemented additional cleaning measures. 

This includes but is not limited to regular touch-point cleansing and disinfecting, before, during and after your visit.

Upon arrival

Laycock Street Community Theatre is now cashless.

All our customer service points are now cashless to eliminate the handling of notes and coins. AMEX is no longer available at our facilities. Transactions available using EFTPOS, Mastercard and Visa.

Doors will open 45 minutes before the event begins, we ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the event to allow time to be seated comfortably to enjoy the performance. Our staff will be on hand to assist with check-in.

Please practise social distancing where possible and adhere to signs, floor markings and advice from our team to keep everyone COVID-safe.

Use the hand sanitising stations as you arrive and during your visit, hand sanitiser is provided throughout our venue.

Bar and Kiosk

The Theatre bar and kiosk is open 45 minutes prior to the show, where you can purchase from a selection of soft drinks, snacks and alcoholic beverages which you can take with you into the auditorium to enjoy in your seat. Hot drinks and food are not permitted in the auditorium.

At the conclusion of the event

Please continue to practise social distancing upon leaving our venue. We encourage you to return to your vehicle and avoid congregating inside or outside the venue.

Purchasing Tickets
Box Office and ticketsTickets to all performances and events held at Laycock Street Community Theatre, Don Craig Room and the Peninsula Theatre are sold directly through Laycock Street Community Theatre box office. Digital tickets will be sent to your nominated email address at the time of booking, simply show your digital ticket to the usher on your mobile phone, no need to print the tickets!To help keep patrons and staff safe, we ask that you make payment with a credit or debit card.
