Plenty of Fish in the Sea
Produced by Clockfire Theatre Company.

A traveller is rescued from the surging seas to the devout fishing village of Saint-Cotriade. Conversation is sparse and his temporary lodgings in an ancient monastery bring him face to face with an unsettling kind of hook-up culture. This is a darkly humorous and physically adventurous contemporary fable about finding the perfect catch.

Plenty of Fish in the Sea is a highly visual piece of narrative theatre embracing old-school theatricality. Surprising objects pop out of odd places, furniture moves as if on a ship on the ocean, characters misinterpret each other’s languages - it’s fun, cheeky, inventive and unsettling for those who are lost at sea.

Plenty of Fish in the Sea was first produced by Clockfire Theatre Company and opened in Sydney on 17 February 2023 at The Flying Nun.

Oyster Boy
Produced by Elizabeth Millington and Kyle Walmsley.

A dark, absurd comedy for anyone who's ever tried to fit in and instead found out, sometimes you just have to go and shuck yourself.

Oyster Boy lives inside an oyster. He is a big fishy weirdo just waiting to be shucked. But is the world ready for his nutrient rich, gender fluid, sand intolerant presence?

Created by proven comic geniuses Kyle Walmsley and Elizabeth Millington, Oyster Boy is a hilarious black comedy for anyone who’s ever tried to fit in but failed. This tale of transition is guaranteed to shock, delight, disturb and entertain, featuring physical, absurd, clammy comedy.

A double bill of contemporary, absurd and humorous fringe programming.
